The Jimmy Carter Work Project 2005 built homes across Michigan and Windsor, Ontario, Canada. More than 230 homes in 70 Michigan communities plus 6 homes in Windsor, Ontario were built during the week of June 17-24, 2005.

Habitat Detroit made a home come true by building the American dream for 30 families in the Detroit neighborhood of Thurgood Marshall Village.
