Though the week was full of hard work, sunburns and stretched muscles, it proved to be a success for both the volunteers and the homeowners. At weeks end volunteers sweeping up, landscaping gardens and even hanging curtains in the newly finished houses. A mariachi band played in the streets as new homeowners celebrated with their new friends from around the world. There was dancing, singing and tears of joy flowed as lives changed for 150 families in Puebla and Veracruz.
